Renaming and Deleting Projects
Manage your projects by renaming them for clarity or deleting ones you no longer need.
Rename a project
- Go to the Projects page
- Right-click on the project card
- Select Rename
- Type the new name
- Press Enter to save (or Escape to cancel)
Naming tips
- Keep names under 80 characters for readability
- Use a consistent format across your team
- Include client name, project type, or date as needed
Delete a project
- Go to the Projects page
- Right-click on the project card
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
This action is permanent
Deleting a project removes all its content—canvas, storyboard, and generated videos. This cannot be undone.
Before deleting
If you're worried about losing important assets:
- Use the Trash feature (click project logo → Trash) to recover accidentally deleted individual assets
- Export your project to save the final output
- Consider renaming with
[ARCHIVED]instead of deleting
When to delete
Consider deleting projects when:
- The work is complete and archived elsewhere
- It was created by mistake
- It's no longer needed
Alternative to deleting
If you might need the project later, consider:
- Renaming it with a prefix like
[ARCHIVED] - Moving team members who don't need access to a different workspace
