What Gets Copied
Your duplicated project includes:
- Project structure — All scenes and their organization

- Assets — Uploaded images, audio, and video files
- Generated content — AI-generated images and videos
- Canvas layouts — Asset positioning and organization
- Settings — Project preferences and configurations
💡 Naming: Duplicated projects are automatically named "Copy of [Original Name]". You can rename them immediately after creation.
Use Cases
Experiment safely Try major changes without affecting your original project
Create variations
Make versions for different clients, formats, or audiences
Build templates Duplicate successful project structures for future use
Version control Snapshot your project before major changes
Team workflows Give each team member their own copy to work independently
After Duplicating
Once your project is duplicated:
- Rename it for clarity using the project menu
- Review content to ensure everything copied correctly
- Make changes without worrying about the original
- Share with team by inviting them to your workspace
Tips
- Duplicate early: Create copies before major changes
- Use clear names: Help teammates understand project versions
- Check your workspace: Ensure you're duplicating to the right location
- Large projects: Projects with many assets may take a moment to duplicate
Limitations
Projects can only be duplicated within the same workspace. To share a project across workspaces, consider:
- Exporting the final video and starting fresh in the target workspace
- Using templates for common project structures
