Layer Management

When assets overlap, layer order determines which one appears on top.

Changing layer order​

Select an asset and use these options:

Bring to FrontRight-click → Bring to Front
Send to BackRight-click → Send to Back
Bring ForwardRight-click → Bring Forward (one layer up)
Send BackwardRight-click → Send Backward (one layer down)

Keyboard shortcuts​

  • Cmd/Ctrl + ] — Bring forward
  • Cmd/Ctrl + [ — Send backward
  • Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + ] — Bring to front
  • Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + [ — Send to back

Troubleshooting​

Label hides behind an image​

Select the label and bring it to front.

Can't select an asset under another​

Temporarily move the top asset, or adjust layer order to reveal what you need.

Best practices​

  • Keep text on top so it's always readable
  • Use groups to manage complex layer arrangements
