Alignment Tools

Mito provides visual guides to help you align and space assets evenly.

Alignment guides​

As you move assets, guides appear automatically:

  • Edge alignment: When edges line up with other assets
  • Center alignment: When centers align
  • Spacing guides: When spacing matches other gaps

Using alignment guides​

  1. Click and drag an asset
  2. Watch for the guide lines
  3. Release when the guides show the alignment you want

The asset snaps to the aligned position.

Manual alignment​

For precise control with multiple assets:

  1. Select multiple assets
  2. Right-click → Align
  3. Choose: Align Left, Align Center, Align Right, Align Top, Align Middle, Align Bottom

Distribute evenly​

With three or more assets selected:

  1. Right-click → Distribute
  2. Choose Horizontally or Vertically

This equalizes the spacing between items.

Tips​

  • Use alignment guides for quick, visual positioning
  • Use manual alignment for precise multi-asset layouts
  • Combine with grouping to lock your layout in place
